Dr. Lee was raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he attended University of Sao Paulo School of Medicine. He served his Ophthalmology residency at Penn State University and Internal Medicine residency at Wright State University. He joined Dr. Janzen in 1992 to form Turlock Eye Physicians Medical Group.

Dr. Lee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine. He specializes in cataract surgery. He has served as chief of staff at Emanuel Medical Center and is a founding member of the Northern California Surgery Center. He is also a volunteer Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at UC Davis School of Medicine.

Dr. Lee is a native speaker of Portuguese and is fluent in Spanish and Korean.
